Origin
Nestled in the heart of southern Colombia, the region of Bruselas in the department of Huila is recognized worldwide as one of the cradles of specialty coffee. Here, the mountains rise above 1,500 meters, offering an ideal climate: sunny days, cool nights, and a unique biodiversity.
These natural conditions create the perfect environment for coffee cultivation. Volcanic soils rich in minerals nourish the coffee trees, while temperature variations encourage slow cherry maturation. The result is coffees with exceptional balance, combining aromatic intensity, natural sweetness, and a lively, elegant acidity.
Huila is also a warm and welcoming region. Most farms are small family-run operations, where each harvest reflects know-how passed down from generation to generation. The producers of Bruselas are renowned for their precision in hand-picking and their mastery of processing methods, ensuring lots of outstanding quality.
Discovering a coffee from Bruselas means experiencing the authenticity of Colombia: refined flavor profiles, often marked by fruity and floral notes, with an elegance that wins over even the most demanding coffee lovers.
