Gingerbread latte recipe

Recette du latte au pain d'épices

Gingerbread Latte Ingredients

For one cup.

Two shots of espresso (about 100 ml of freshly ground coffee) from our coffee beans or ground coffee. We recommend using our Italian blend 05AM ...... for this recipe.

  • ½ teaspoon of ground ginger, plus a bit more for serving
  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A pinch of ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 300 ml of whole milk or plant-based milk (oat milk is ideal for a gingerbread latte)
  • Whipped cream (as much as you like)

How to Make a Gingerbread Latte?

Prepare a double espresso or brew about 100 ml of coffee using your preferred brewing method (we use a French press) with our coffee beans or our ground coffee. Pour the coffee into a large glass or mug.

In a bowl, mix the spices, sugar, and vanilla extract.

In a saucepan, heat 75 ml of milk with the sugar and spice mixture, whisking until the sugar dissolves. Gently incorporate the rest of the milk in 50 ml portions until the mixture is smooth, then heat until steaming.

Add the spiced milk to your coffee, then top with whipped cream and a pinch of ground ginger. If you want to make this drink even more special, which we hope you do, we recommend adding a mini gingerbread man or some crushed gingerbread cookies.

What Does a Gingerbread Latte Taste Like?

Basically, it's like Christmas in a cup: imagine comforting winter spices like ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, with a touch of sweet sweetness and a creamy texture. It's an unmatched comforting pleasure, perfect when the weather cools down
