Terms and conditions

The following general terms and conditions of sale (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") apply to the use of chronic.ch (hereinafter referred to as "online store"). By using this site and/or purchasing from our online store, you agree to the following GTC. 

The online store is managed by the company Bean2me SA (hereinafter referred to as "Bean2me").

Orders

By placing an order on our online store, you agree to purchase the products you have selected in accordance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter GTC).
Bean2me offers its products for sale on its online store subject to available stock.


Order Confirmation

The orders you place on our online store do not constitute a binding contract until a written confirmation is received from Bean2me. This confirmation is issued electronically and must be communicated through usual channels.
Bean2me reserves the right, at its discretion, to refuse an order, particularly in cases of unpaid invoices or insolvency. The data recorded by Bean2me constitutes irrefutable proof of the order or transaction. The data recorded by the payment system constitutes irrefutable proof of financial transactions.
Prepaid orders must be paid within 15 days following the order date. If payment is not made within the allotted time, the orders in question will be deleted from our system and considered canceled.

Prices

All prices are per item and in Swiss francs (CHF), including VAT. Price changes and limited-time offers are possible at any time and do not require prior notice.

Payment Method

Customers of Bean2me's online store can settle their invoices by:

- Credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express)
- Twint
- Paypal
- Apple pay / Google pay
- Bank transfer (IBAN)


Delivery

Deliveries are made by Swiss Post for Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, and by UPS for deliveries to the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Monaco .

Shipping fees are charged in addition to the order value, according to the terms below. Deliveries are made free of charge to your home (free delivery) for billing amounts of 50.- CHF or more for Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Delivery terms:

9.- CHF for any order valued between 0.- CHF and 49.99 CHF.
Free for any order with a minimum value of 50.- CHF.

For deliveries within the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Monaco, shipping costs are automatically calculated during the order process, based on the destination country and the parcel's weight.

Pick up your merchandise at the roastery in Chêne-Bourg.

In case of non-pickup or request for postal delivery, the shipping fees corresponding to the amount of your order will be charged.


Delivery and shipping times

Our delivery conditions apply to Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Monaco.
Normally, all our items are in stock and are shipped the next business day after the order.

 
Delivery address and billing address

All orders confirmed by Bean2me will be delivered to the address indicated on the order. The delivery address may differ from the billing address. These can be modified at any time in your account or during your order.


Merchandise verification

It is your responsibility to check the quantity and condition of the merchandise upon delivery.
If you find that the merchandise is damaged or the quantities delivered do not match the order, you must report it and file a complaint with the carrier (Swiss Post) and inform Bean2me within 7 days of delivery. Bean2me will then replace the missing or damaged merchandise with identical items.


Returns

You can return merchandise that does not suit you within 14 days of receiving the order.
Bean2me only accepts returns of merchandise in their original unopened packaging, accompanied by the invoice.
When returns are made in the prescribed manner, Bean2me will refund the price of the returned merchandise and the charged delivery fees within a maximum of 30 days from the date of receipt of the returned merchandise. Shipping costs are your responsibility.


Quality guarantee

The Bean2me quality guarantee ensures you a flawless coffee or a free replacement if, despite our numerous quality checks, an imperfection is found.
If this occurs, simply return the defective product to us, mentioning the issue in advance by email at hello@chronic.ch.


Right of access to the online store

You are authorized to access and use the online store for personal purposes only and may not, without our written agreement and under penalty of prosecution, use the online store or all of its contents for commercial, editorial, advertising purposes or any other activity that could be harmful to us.


Applicable law

All clauses in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as in all purchase and sale operations referred to therein, are subject to Swiss law.


Limitation of liability

We are committed to doing everything possible to ensure you the best quality of service in accordance with our company's values. However, we cannot be held responsible for any delay in the delivery of ordered items or any delay in the delivery of these items by Swiss Post, our partner for order delivery. Despite our vigilance and all the precautions we have taken with the partners we work with, to allow you to enjoy the services we offer, we do not guarantee the absence of any disruption in the operation of the site and its various parts.
Consequently:
We disclaim any liability for direct or indirect damages that may result from access to or use of the online store, as well as any liability that may result from the impossibility of accessing or using it.
Similarly, we disclaim any liability for any risks related to the installation of software that may allow consultation of the site and the mobile application or for any damages resulting from transmission errors, technical defects, overloads, or communication interruptions.


Protection of personal data

Regardless of the nature of the personal data concerning you, which we may become aware of, we are committed to doing everything possible to process them with the strictest confidentiality, ensure their protection, and use them only to execute your orders and requests, and to improve the services that may be offered to you on the site and the mobile application or to inform you about their developments.
You can, however, at any time exercise your right to access, rectify, or oppose these data from your customer account or by writing us an email.

Force Majeure

Bean2me will do everything possible to fulfill its obligations, but cannot be held responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from circumstances beyond its control, such as strikes, wars, natural disasters, or other events of any kind that prevent the production, transportation, or delivery of products.
In case of delay, Bean2me will fulfill its obligations as soon as possible and reserves the right to distribute remaining product stocks among its customers fairly.


Legal Jurisdiction

The legal jurisdiction is established at the domicile of Bean2me SA, in Chêne-Bourg, Switzerland.
