The new Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.)
To ensure optimal grinding for each specialty, JURA engineers developed the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.). This precision grinder with electronic control adjusts to the predefined grind fineness in just fractions of a second – with a speed and consistency that would be impossible to achieve manually. The adjustment range goes from a very fine grind for short classics to a very coarse grind for extended specialties. But coffee enthusiasts don't need to worry about this: the adjustment is made automatically with each preparation. And thanks to the Aroma Selection function, it's also possible to select the desired setting before each preparation.
Cold Brew Technology: freshness at its peak
Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares authentic Cold Brew specialties. Most conventional cold drinks are made with coffee that brews hot before cooling. However, on the Z10, the extraction is done with cold water pulsed at high pressure and generally coarser grounds. The result in the cup: a refreshing and naturally energizing drink that highlights the fruity aromas of the coffee, without overwhelming them with bitter substances. Anything but just a simple cold coffee!
An 8th generation brewing unit
The brewing unit is the heart of an automatic coffee machine. The one in the Z10 represents the eighth generation designed by JURA. With its unique 3D brewing technology, water flows evenly on multiple levels through the coffee grounds. This extracts maximum aroma, for both hot specialties and Cold Brew drinks.
Luxury at its finest
On the Signature Line edition, the front and top of the machine are adorned with solid aluminum plates 3 millimeters thick. The initial material is meticulously crafted in several stages to give it the characteristic 'face' of the Z line. The surface finish is achieved through anodization, an electrochemical process. The color highlights the personality of the materials and the overall aesthetics of the machine. A chrome-plated zinc cup platform completes the distinguished design of the Z10 Signature Line.
