Rocket Espresso Bicocca

CHF 4,200.00

The Bicocca is Rocket Espresso's most advanced home model. It is built around a dual stainless steel boiler system with an electrically heated group and PID control, which guarantees stable extraction temperature from the first to the last espresso, even when brewing several cups in a row. The 3.5-inch touchscreen lets you program two volumetric recipes with customised pre-infusion for perfectly repeatable extractions. Heat-up is fast: 8 to 10 minutes to be ready to extract. Rotary pump, 1.8-litre water tank or direct water connection. The machine to look at for intensive daily use without compromising on consistency.

Stainless steel dual boiler and heated group

The Bicocca relies on two independent stainless steel boilers: 0.5 litres for extraction, 1.5 litres for steam. Brew temperature and steam pressure stay stable even when you're frothing milk while pulling shot after shot.

The group is electrically heated and PID-controlled: it holds its set temperature from the first coffee of the day to the last, without relying on heat from the machine's body.

A touchscreen that earns its place

The 3.5-inch touchscreen above the group controls the whole machine: two programmable volumetric recipes, plus cup volume, pre-infusion and extraction time settings. Your coffees become repeatable.

Scheduled on and off times mean the machine is hot when you get up and switched off when you're out. Good news for your electricity bill.

Ready in 8 to 10 minutes

Despite its professional-grade spec sheet, the Bicocca reaches brewing temperature in 8 to 10 minutes, with full steam power close behind. The actively heated group has a lot to do with it.

The rotary pump runs from the 1.8-litre tank, with reserve sensor, or plumbed into the mains. The insulated boilers keep standby consumption down.

Rocket's flagship home machine

Designed by Valerio Cometti + V12 Design, the Bicocca has taut, geometric lines that say exactly what it is: the most accomplished model in Rocket Espresso's home range.

It's made for the demanding home barista who wants the stability of a stainless steel dual boiler, touchscreen programming and fast heat-up, in a 41 cm wide machine made in Milan.
