The R58 Tune is the benchmark dual boiler machine in Rocket’s home range. Two independent boilers, 0.58 litres for extraction and 1.8 litres for steam, let you brew espresso and heat milk at the same time, with stable temperature in both cases. TUNE technology is the real highlight: it programs pre-infusion and the end of extraction at a fixed pressure of 3 bars, to reduce channeling at the start of the shot and soften the last seconds of extraction. Two boilers, two tasks at the same time

The R58 Tune comes with two independent boilers: 0.58 litres dedicated to extraction, 1.8 litres for steam. In concrete terms, you pull your espresso and steam your milk at the same time, without waiting for the machine to switch from one mode to the other.

Each boiler has its own PID control, so the temperature stays stable to the exact degree, shot after shot. Switching from a light, fruity coffee to a darker blend? Set the temperature on the colour display and the machine takes care of the rest. That’s what sets a true dual boiler espresso machine apart from a heat exchanger model: consistent precision, every morning.

Tune Technology: three-phase extraction

Tune Technology lets you set the pre-infusion time and the end of extraction, both at 3 bars. The coffee puck is gently saturated before the pressure rises, which reduces channeling and makes the extraction more consistent. At the end of the shot, the pressure drops again to avoid the bitterness that comes out in the last few seconds.

So you can adapt the extraction curve to each coffee, whether it’s a delicate single origin or a bold blend, without any extra accessories. A preset pressure profiling system, designed for home use and ready to use from day one.

Designed for everyday use

The new push-turn knobs make every step simpler: press to purge, turn to dispense steam or hot water. The shot timer appears during extraction, handy for aiming for your 25 to 30 seconds without taking out a stopwatch.

For water, you can choose between the 1.9-litre tank and a direct mains connection, ideal if the machine stays in place in the kitchen. Add fast heat-up and the rotary pump, quieter than a vibration pump, and you get an espresso machine that really works for everyday use. Not just on Sundays.

Made in Milan, built to last

The R58 Tune is hand-assembled in Rocket Espresso’s workshop in Milan. At 29 kilos on the scale, with a monolithic stainless steel body and components drawn from the professional world, it is designed to be repaired rather than thrown away. It’s a machine you buy once.
